AMPM - Associação de Mulheres com Patologia Mamária

We are an association supporting women with breast cancer, founded in 2007, headquartered in Barreiro and covering the four municipalities served by the Barreiro-Montijo Hospital Center: Barreiro, Moita, Montijo, and Alcochete.

We have a strong presence in the community and promote awareness sessions for early breast cancer diagnosis, health literacy sessions, and scientific outreach in schools with the support of the Gulbenkian Institute of Science (IGC).

In addition to this more visible work, we are involved with other Patient Associations in the Infarmed Inclusion Project, as well as other advocacy projects.
